Consultation

Procedure

The implant fixture will then be placed and the area stitched up for healing. The doctor may choose to attach an abutment and replacement tooth to your fixture at this point, however, it is not unusual to go without for the duration of the recovery period.
Recovery
The most important part of the dental implant process, the recovery period is when osseointegration occurs. Osseointegration is the process of your implant fixture being accepted by your jawbone and surrounding gums as a natural part of your anatomy. This is made possible because dental implants are made from titanium, a metal that the body does not recognize as a foreign material. Replacement
Once the recovery process has completed, you will return to our office to have your abutment and replacement tooth attached. Our replacement teeth are modeled after your own natural teeth, ensuring that once in place, no one will be able to tell the difference between your artificial and natural teeth.
